It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marlyis Ann Fraser (née Zaretski), aged 69. Marlyis was born on October 28, 1956, and passed away following a heart attack at St. Boniface Hospital on January 12.
Funeral will be held on Tuesday January 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home.

Marlyis and I were co-workers for many years. That's how we met. We spoke often of our families, problems and the dynamics they played in our daily lives. She was an excellent listener for which I will always be thankful. We lost touch after she retired, I thought often of her and how grateful I was for the time we spent together .
